Since the beginning of her career Klio has performed extensively both as a soloist and ensemble player in the U.K. and abroad. She has been broadcast by BBC Radio 3 as part of the LETO Ensemble and has appeared in festivals, series, clubs and societies such as Peckham Festival, Prokofiev Festival, Barnes Festival, Mayfield Festival, Lincoln Music Club, Blenheim Music Circle, Blackheath Halls Lunchtime Series, Demetria Festival, the International Music Festival of Cyclades in Greece as well as the Abbey de Villelongue and Les Theophanies concert series in France amongst others. Her special interest in contemporary music has led her to work and record with new composers such as Ficcara, Mills, Luckett, Athanasiadis, Carmichael, Stewart and Kubo. She has commisioned and premiered works at the Queen Elizabeth Hall/Foyer, the National Portrait Gallery, Blackheath Halls, St James's Piccadilly, St Martin-in-the-Fields, the Foundling Museum and the Hellenic Centre in London.
As an educator Klio is busy teaching the flute as well as leading children's concerts and workshops. Specializing in the early years music education Klio has worked extensively as a project leader for Trinity College of Music and is currently leading the Early Years Program at the Blackheath Conservatoire in London. Klio studied in Paris with Catherine Cantin and Pierre Dumail before joining the classes of Alan Baker and Wissam Boustany at Trinity College of Music in London.
